Darjeeling is a scenic town in the Indian state of West Bengal, nestled in the foothills of the Lesser Himalayas and surrounded by emerald green tea plantations. The towering Kangchenjunga, the world’s third tallest peak, rises over this lovely hamlet. Darjeeling, often known as the ‘Queen of the Hills,’ supplied breathtaking backdrops for a number of Bollywood films, including Barfi, Main Hoon Na, and Aradhana. The colonial era architecture, which was developed by the British, can still be seen all across Darjeeling. Mount Everest and Mount Kangchenjunga can both be seen from Tiger Hill. Lloyd’s Botanical Garden offers a diverse flora collection that includes oak, magnolia, and bamboo.
